The Canterbury Tales is a theme of 29 pilgrims who are accompanied by Geofrey Chaucer and set out on a journey from capital of the United Kingdom to Canterbury to seek contriteness and find inner peace, as it was a tradition to more of them. As the journey starts out is apparent that at that set are numerous of people, and they all have an everlasting story to tell. Some have a little more than than otherwises, middling the little they had was soothe to them. Each person was a special, unique, individual(a) with a history, and I believe it was just comforting for someone to just listen. The person I chose was the knight, perchance because he was the starting signal one that Chaucer chose to begin with, and maybe because of his character and statue. He is exposit as a worthy man with love, truth, award and chivalry. He had fought with some of the close to dangerous people in the globe, tho had slain everyone of his foes. He had rode from one side of the world to the other and because of his royal prestige he was given the most rich respect and praise. Through all of the knights biography he had won all, been praised by all, and loved by all, further one thing remained, he was sad indoors himself. It was the likes of something was missing from his life, and all the fame in the world would not receive the emptiness that he carried inside. Even when Chaucer told the story there was a bore carried upon the knights heart and, although he had just come from a voyage, it was a major evidence he sought to take this journey with the pilgrims.
